1 SCOPE.

This specification covers a rubber based, expanding acoustical sealer which will expand, flow and cure under oven heats, thereby affecting a water, air and dust proof seal. The material must be a high solids compound with minimum of surface tack in handling, but provides sufficient adhesion to oily steel, zincrometal, and galvanized steel before curing. The prefonned material shall part cleanlyfrom release paper on which it is furnished. The sealermust withstand production ELPO and phosphatizing systems, ELPO bakes and paint oven bakes. It must not be adversely affected by humidity, salt spray or aging.
