This specification covers two types of sulfuric acid as used in plating, anodizing, and other chemical processes. Type A is a higher purity product from the standpoint of iron content, particularly suitable for bright plating.
Either type material may be furnished if Type A or Type B is not indicated (e.g. GM 1751M, Type A) by individual purchaser.
