This standard describes the procedure for installing adhesive foam tape to a plastic part, and a procedure for running a 90° peel test between the tape and the part.

This procedure is intended to serve as a general guideline for the automotive component supplier. Tape attached components can include body side moldings, roof ditch moldings, body claddings, appliqués, door sill plates, fascia trim strip, wheel flares, nameplates, emblems, and other trim applications.
