The Crockmeter method is based on the ASTM International (ASTM) standard test method for the Determination of Abrasion and Smudge Resistance of Images Produced from Business Copy Products (ASTM F1319 – 94).
Purpose.
The purpose of this test is to determine the adhesion of film lubricant to aluminum sheet metal used in the Quick Plastic Forming (QPF) process.
