The Crockmeter method is based on the ASTM international (ASTM) standard test method for the Determination of Abrasion and Smudge Resistance of Images Produced from Business Copy Products (ASTM F1319 – 94).
Purpose. The purpose of this test is to determine the adhesion of film lubricant to aluminum sheet metal used in the Quick Plastic Forming (QPF) process.

Applicability. This standard is for aluminum sheet used in the Quick Plastic Forming process.
