1 Scope
1.1 Description. This specification provides procedures for (1) specifying tensile and fatigue properties at designated control locations for aluminum and cast iron parts and (2) verifying that these properties exist as specified. Control locations may be in the part, from co-cast appendages, or from separately cast specimens. This specification may be used in drawings, CTS, VTS, statements of requirements, BOM/BOP/BOD, or other documents.
