1 Scope
This specification covers the properties of a natu ral, UV and heat stabilized, thermoplastic vulcani zate containing fully cured EPDM elastomer parti cles dispersed in a continuous polypropylene ma trix. The material can be processed using injection molding, extrusion or blow molding.
1.1 Typical Application. Typical applications in clude the following: coin trays, cup holders, seals, mats and other parts where softness and confor mity are needed. Continuous operating tempera ture range: 40 to 135 °C.
1.2 Remarks. Not recommended where exposure to fuel or oil for prolonged periods is anticipated.
