This engineering standard covers the material related part performance requirements for all interior parts, e.g., Instrument Panel (IP) trim, side trim, floor trim, seat, console, etc.

This standard is applicable for all global supplied parts, i.e., parts which are supplied to more than one of the GM regions GM North America, GM Europe, GM APO, and GM LAAM.

This engineering standard is applicable for interior parts with and without appearance attributes (color, grain and/or gloss designation). Interior parts without appearance attribute do need not to comply with requirements in section 3.3. This engineering standard must be used in conjunction with the appropriate GM raw material specification.In addition to the GMW14444 requirements, the following part performance and/or material specifications are also applicable:
