Material Description.
This standard describes elastomeric materials that are suitable for floor mat applications. Testing shall be performed on production intent parts. The performance tests can be applied as well to floor mats made of thermoplastic elastomers (TPE), the material properties of the TPE must be tested to the relevant GMW material specification for TPE.
