Purpose.

This standard provides a test procedure for determining ionic leaching susceptibility of materials being considered for use in fuel cell, high temperature thermal systems in contact with dielectric coolant. Ion leaching drives an increase of coolant conductivity resulting in current leakage and fuel cell performance degradation.
