Purpose/Material Description.
This standard specifies requirements of injection moldable 30% glass fiber reinforced, impact modified poly (phenylene sulfide) (PPS) for various applications.
Symbols.
The material abbreviation according to ISO 1043-1 is PPS-I-GF30 and to ISO 11469 is >PPS- I- GF30<.
Applicability.
Exhaust gas recirculation valve actuators and AC connection system components.
Remarks.
The standard specifies PPS-I-GF30 for three (3) categories:
• General purpose, GMW18602P-PPS-GF30
• Hydrolysis resistant, GMW18602P-PPS-GF30HR for demanding coolant applications
• Electrical insulating grade, GMW18602P-PPS-GF30E for high voltage electrical insulation
