This document details the requirements for a roof rail-mounted Airbag Module component (hereinafter referred to as the Module) to be considered for airbag subsystems used on vehicles produced by General Motors Worldwide (GMW). As defined by the responsible Vehicle Engineering Center (hereinafter referred to as VEC), the Module consists of a Roof Rail Airbag (RRAB).Any vehicle level and Module interface requirements contained herein, shall be addressed by the responsible VEC The Module Supplier shall work cooperatively with the responsible VECs and any other component Suppliers in resolving any identified interface, design or function issues. The responsible VECs shall be the final arbiter of any vehicle and interface requirements.
