1 Scope

This standard covers the basic dimensional and general specifications together with the performance requirements applicable for plastic tie straps for panel hole mounting. The panel hole size shall be (6.35 ± 0.25) mm diameter, and panel thickness between 0.7 to 3 mm. The tie straps shall be used for bundling and binding together wires, cables, tubes, etc., or combinations thereof as required, in a wide range of automotive applications.
