This standard covers the basic dimensional and general specifications together with the performance requirements applicable for plastic tie straps for panel hole mounting. The panel hole size shall be 6.35 ± 0.25 mm diameter or hexagon hole 6.3 0/-0.2 mm width across flats, and panel thickness between 0.7 to 3 mm. The tie straps shall be used for bundling and binding together wires, cables, tubes, etc., or combinations thereof as required, in a wide range of automotive applications.
