MODUK DEF STAN 00-042: PART 1 PDF

The aim of this Standard is to complement Def Stan 00-042, Part 3 and provide additional advice and guidance unique to one-shot devices and one shot systems to support the acquisition process and the development of R&M assurance.

This Part of Defence Standard 00-042:

a) addresses the R&M aspects of one-shot devices and one-shot systems;

b) supports the needs of contractors, MOD Project Managers and end users.

c) provides practical definitions for:

i) a one-shot device;

ii) reliability of a one-shot device (see 2);

iii) maintenance of a one-shot device (see 3).
