This Defence Standard provides information and guidance to a project manager to enable a contract for a Standard Serviceability Test (SST) to be produced. Once the contract has been awarded this Defence Standard will provide the author of the SSTSpec information, guidance and general requirements for the SSTSpec. This Defence Standard assumes compliance with the approved testability standards during system design, thus consideration has been given to the maintenance testing requirements at the outset.
