Unless otherwise specified in this Standard, the certification requirements of EASA CS-E (amendment 6) including related AMC and Appendices shall be applied. Additionally, the requirements of CS-E Subparts B and C shall be applicable to all spark and compression ignition engines, despite CS-E referring to ‘piston engines’.
Note 1 Where CS-E makes reference to ‘the Agency’, this should be considered to mean the certifying authority.
