This Def Stan specifies the requirements for the provision, design and fitting out of the Health Physics Laboratories (HP Lab) in Nuclear Submarines. It includes mandatory instructions and guidance information applicable to the laboratory and other areas likely to be affected by contamination due to accidental spillage of primary coolant samples.
