This Defence Standard (Def Stan) is intended to provide casting designers and founders with advice on the use of procedures to be followed for the production of high integrity sand castings in Copper Nickel Chromium alloy to Class I standards as detailed in Def Stan 02-824 Part 1 although the advice is relevant to all castings in this alloy.
