MODUK DEF STAN 13-98 PDF

This standard specifies the requirements for the provision, preparation and presentation of technical data to ensure the efficient in-service management of Ministry of Defence (MOD) explosives and munitions. This standard applies to new to service natures and for the ongoing procurement of natures already in-service.

Overseas Contractors

Where considered appropriate, this Standard may be used to specify technical data requirements for overseas customers of ammunition manufactured by UK contractors.

Refusal of Consignment

The MOD reserves the right to refuse consignment of the munitions if the conditions of this Def Stan are not adhered to.

Waivers/Concessions

Under extreme justification the contractor may apply to the MOD for certain waivers/concessions and production deviation permits.
