This part of the Defence Standard defines the requirements for the preparation of Master Record Indexes (MRI) using CONSTRUCTOR software only

Illustrates the various formats produced by MRI CONSTRUCTOR to accommodate the required information, and includes, as examples, Family Trees which have not been produced using MRI CONSTRUCTOR.

It also defines the application of MRI to design documentation prior to ship fitting and during its Service life.

This Defence Standard does not apply to Ships Master Records (Def 02-41 applies), Guided Weapons (Defence Standard 05-123 applies) or Tactical Weapon and Ship Weapon Systems.
