This Defence Standard specifies the requirements for five synthetic rubber vulcanizates of the butadiene acrylonitrile type with high acrylonitrile content, intended for use in the production of items such as sheets, washers, strip, gaskets, moulded articles and wrapped tubing for applications where extreme resistance to organic liquids, such as hydrocarbon fuels and oils, is required, and where some stiffening at temperatures below -10°C can be tolerated.
