MODUK DEF STAN 60-1: PART 0 PDF

This standard specifies the general requirements and test methods of Cables, Fibre Optic for MOD use. Defence Standard 60-1 part 0 is the Generic specification for a family of Cables, Fibre Optic. It applies to all Cables, Fibre Optic including specialised categories of insulation where additional tests shall apply, e.g. Limited Fire Hazard applications.

Where possible, test requirements have been detailed to reflect the minimum level of properties which Cables, Fibre Optic for MOD use, shall meet. Necessary deviations from the test requirements shall be specified under the particular test heading of those tests called up in the relevant parts of Defence Standard 60-1.

The Defence Standard parts shall select tests from this Standard relevant to their application. Any additional specialised test not covered by this Standard shall also be stated in these parts.
