MODUK DEF STAN 61-12: PART 0 PDF

This standard is the generic specification for a family of conductors ranging from a nominal cross sectional area (csa) of 0.035 mm² to 630 mm² and the associated wires, cords and cables which are manufactured using selected conductors in the above range.

Test requirements have been detailed to reflect, where possible, the minimum level of properties, which wires and cables shall meet for MOD use. Deviations from the test requirements in this standard shall be specified in the relevant Def Stan Sectional Specification.

The Def Stan Sectional Specification shall select tests from this standard relevant to their application. Additional specialised tests or deviations from the tests listed in this standard shall also be stated in the Def Stan Sectional Specification.
