This Standard specifies requirements for grease resisting wrapping paper suitable for use as a primary wrap for metal items, which have been treated with soft film protective.

This standard also specifies requirements for grease-resistant paper bags for use in packaging of supplies for the Services, made from the above material.

This standard also includes Wrapping, Mouldable, Waxed, Grease-resisting material suitable also for edge protection etc.

This standard contains no information on the use of the bags or mouldable wrap in package design; this is included in Defence Standard 81-041, Packaging of Defence Materiel Part 2: Design.
