This standard specifies requirements for the Tri-Service refurbishment of metal Ammunition Containers, including Unit Load Containers, to a standard sufficient to ensure that the renovated container performs to its original capabilities for the protection of packaged equipment.

The procedures detailed are not intended to achieve an "as new" condition, but to provide a re-conditioned container which is safe and suitable both for Service use and for issue on embodiment loan to contractors who are packaging stores and equipment on behalf of the MOD.

This Standard does not include requirements for Special to Contents Containers (STCC)
