This standard specifies the requirements for Military Level packaging of metal pipes and pipe assemblies.

It is applicable for items of 2 to 50 mm internal diameter and less than 3,000 mm in length packaged to Military Levels P and N.

Only items with a minimum fragility factor of 100 gn and a Primary Packaged Quantity (PPQ) of one or a PPQ of less than 10 kg are covered.

Pipes and assemblies used for the following systems include: oxygen, air, nitrogen, fuel, hydraulic and wave guides.
