This Defence Standard specifies military level requirements for the packaging of fuel injection pumps and injectors. It relates to levels J, K, L, M, N, P, Primary, Restricted and Full Standard packages as defined in Def Stan 81-41.
The following types of fuel injection pumps are covered:
(a) fuel injection pump fitted with a mechanical governor;
(b) fuel injection pump fitted with a hydraulic governor (open or closed circuit)
(c) fuel injection pump fitted with a pneumatic governor.
