Introduction
Ministry of Defence (MOD) policy is to seek FIRM prices wherever possible. Where this cannot be achieved due to differing perceptions of forward inflation risk, MOD will be prepared to consider the negotiation of FIXED prices which can be varied in accordance with an appropriate formula set out in the Contract and which utilises appropriate recognised indices.
