The purpose of this procedure is to specify the arrangements for the primary and secondary injection of an additional circuit of busbar protection, for a High Impedance circulating current scheme with a single (duplicated) relay per zone.

Informative: Such installations are typically in accordance with TPS 5/4 (1975) and TPS 5/11 (1991) and the modified centralised relay room installations at both 275kV and 400kV were invariably upgraded to Mk II standard.
