PURPOSE AND SCOPE

This Handbook provides information on how Digital Engineering Solutions ‘can be delivered’.

There may be better ways of delivering the digitally engineered solution, and I or specific requirements placed on the supplier by National Grid within project specific EIR. The information contained in this Handbook must therefore be verified as being the required solution for each project.

This Handbook also provides ‘Project Briefs’ demonstrating specific BIM interventions on common National Grid project types. This is intended to provide general information on where digital engineering could benefit a project.
