PURPOSE AND SCOPE

This document details commissioning tests for Wound Voltage Transformers (WVTs).

With the exception of sections 5 and 6, all tests and records are for Stage 1 Commissioning (tests carried out with the WVT isolated from the National Grid system).

Sections 5 and 6 deal with Stage 2 Commissioning (tests carried out with the WVT connected to National Grid system).

This document is not intended for the commissioning of transformers provided for Settlement Metering, these requirements are given in SCTs 16.3 and 16.4.
