PURPOSE AND SCOPE

This document contains the site commissioning tests and checks to be performed on the installation of a cable system using cables to TS 3.5.1 "132 kV, 275 kV and 400 kV Oil-Filled Cable" or TS 3.5.2 "XLPE Cable For Rated Voltages Above 33 kV (Um = 36 kV)".

Some of the tests described in this document are also referred to by TS 3.5.14 "Cable and Accessories for Rated Voltages of 11 kV and 33 kV".
