PURPOSE AND SCOPE
This specification defines National Grid's functional and performance requirements for Static Var Compensators (SVC) for connection to the National Grid system at 400 kV and 275 kV.
It does not include the switchgear connections to the HV system, which are specified separately in TS 2.2.
