This specification details the requirements for the termination and testing of optical fibre cables used for trunk routes between Equipment Accommodation Modules (EAM).
The optical fibre cables will terminate, in a standard manner, on Optical Distribution Frames (ODF) housed within the equipment accommodation modules (EAM's).
For the purpose of this document, a route is defined as the optical path from the Optical Connector on the ODF in one EAM to the optical connector on the ODF of the next EAM, there being no EAM in between.
