PURPOSE AND SCOPE

This Technical Specification (TS) defines the functional, performance and testing requirements for the Protection and Control (P&C) systems of a Static Compensator (STATCOM) for connection to the National Grid Electricity Transmission (NGET) system.

This document shall be read in conjunction with TS 2.32 for a STATCOM, as well as the relevant policy and specification documents as listed in the Reference section.
