Points modules from the power interface between the serial data distribution system of a solid state interlocking and the lineside points which it controls. The modules also enable the input of detection position, track circuit state and other signaling information to be made available to the central interlocking. The detailed structure, operation and connection configuration are obtained in the handbook for the S.S.I. Points Module, B.R.

This Specification states the engineering requirements for a solid state interlocking module for the control of lineside points.

The module shall meet all the requirements of B.R. Specification 1900 unless otherwise stated.
