The Scope of this Notice Board covers all level crossings fitted with Wig-Wags and applies to Signalling Maintenance staff and Level Crossing Inspector Maintainers (LCIM).
Purpose
The purpose of this Notice Board is to give guidance to technicians that will allow them to progress the necessary action at any level crossing fitted with flashing Road Traffic Lights (RTL) commonly known as Wig-Wags that could be affected by sunlight, either on the low horizon or as a result of swamping.
