This Notice Board applies to all QNHXC1 A.C. contactor relays used in WESTRACE Trackside System (WTS) installations. The requirements apply to all Signal Engineering functions that maintain, install or commission this type of relay on NR infrastructure. The relay is: B18583/2 AC CONTACTOR QNHXC1 PIN CODE 102 2HF /4F/4B.

Purpose

The purpose of this notice board is to recommend the action to be taken due to premature wear of QNHXC1 relay typically used within point motor control circuits or other similar heavy-duty applications.
