This notice board applies to all Signalling Engineering staff involved in the management and testing of Wrong Side Failures associated with track circuits, Route Control staff who deal with failure reports, and by those involved in the SINCs process.
Purpose
The purpose of this notice board is to brief staff on amendments to NR/L3/SIG/20047 (Management of Safety Related Reports for Signalling Failures Appendix), regarding investigation and categorisation of Track Circuits Showing Clear when Occupied (TC SCWO), whilst protected by the Signaller under Rulebook Module TS11 clause 15.3.
