The scope of this module is to provide consistent management of data and information for escalators and moving walk (EMW) assets.
Purpose
The purpose of this module is to provide a structure for asset data and information management such as to achieve:
a) Delivery of safe and reliable assets;
b) Delivery of a consistent structure for asset data and information management for EMW’s;
c) Compliance with relevant legislation and in particular; The Machinery Directive (2006/42/EC) – The Supply of Machinery (Safety) Regulations 2008 and Provision & Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998 (PUWER).
