This module applies to the Structures Asset Register and the data required to be held within it. 

This module applies to all Structures that are under the accountability of the Structures community, as identified in NR/L1/CIV/001.

NOTE: This module may also be used to record structures that are not the accountability of the structures community, including structures owned by External Parties where there is a foreseeable risk their structure could have a health, safety, environmental, performance, financial, or reputational effect on the railway.

Purpose 

The purpose of this module is to set out the procedures and requirements for recording structures assets and their associated data within the Structures Asset Register.

Recording an asset, with its details/data, in the Structures’ Asset Register is required to instigate its management regime and comply with Network Rail’s licence conditions.
