This module identifies the controls, processes and documentation necessary so that correlation of signalling infrastructure is adequately carried.It does not cover the requirements for correlating the infrastructure to draw a signalling Scheme Base Plan which are covered in NR/L2/SIG/11201 Module A3-3.

Purpose

This module gives guidance on the correlation of signalling records to actual wiring and equipment.

Correlation of signalling records, equipment and wiring on site is necessary to confirm:

a) the accuracy of source records prior to any design alteration; and

b) that records for signalling infrastructure controlled by Network Rail are adequate for maintenance and faulting.
