This specification sets out the technical requirements for a voltage conditioner. It applies to any organisation that proposes to supply Network Rail with a 110Va.c.voltage conditioner that will be treated as a controlled product requiring product acceptance in line with NR/L2/RSE/100/05.
Purpose
This specification assists in the development of voltage conditioners in line with current Network Rail standards and procedures to confirm a product offered is the best solution for Network Rail.
NOTE: The term ‘voltage conditioner’ is intentionally generic to help promote advances in technology used within the railway.
