This specification applies to individuals who are introducing or amending Points Operating Systems for Network Rail managed infrastructure, where EULYNX interfaces are required.

This document contains the Network Rail application requirements for the following EULYNX system and interface:

• Points System

• Interlocking to Points System Standard Control Interface (SCI-P)

• Maintenance and Data Management System to Points System Standard Diagnostic Interface (SDI-P)

• Maintenance and Data Management System to Points System Standard Maintenance Interface (SMI-P)

• EULYNX Network Rail Points Control Interface (P3)

Requirements in NR/L2/SIG/19820/L01 Specifications for EULYNX Interface –Generic are applicable in addition to the above. 

This specification only considers the EULYNX interfaces within the Subsystem Points, additional requirements for powered Point Operating Equipment (POE) can be found in NR/PS/SIG/2001.

Purpose 

This specification sets out the specific technical requirements for the application of the EULYNX Points System (P) and interfaces. 

It is intended that this document is read in conjunction with NR/L2/SIG/19820/L01 Specification for EULYNX – Generic, and all applicable subsystem and interface documentation published by EULYNX Consortium.
