Introduction
Automatic open crossings, locally monitored, are equipped with road traffic light signals, but barriers are not provided. An audible warning is provided for pedestrians.
New automatic open crossings are not permitted by NR/L2/OPS/100. This Module specifies the control system principles to be applied if an existing automatic open crossing is being refurbished or modified.
