This specification defines the mechanical and electrical properties for insulating conduit glands suitable for use with flexible insulating standard and divisible (split) conduits. This specification does not provide requirements for insulating adapters or reducers for use with metallic glands that may be fitted to Class II based signalling distribution systems in accordance with NR/L2/SIGELP/27410.
Purpose
This specification defines the requirements for glands suitable for flexible, insulating conduits to be used in Class II based signalling power distribution systems.
