This instruction applies to all persons engaged in the maintenance of CCTV video recorders used by Network Rail and/or the SFO.

Purpose

This instruction defines the requirements for an inspection regime by the telecoms maintainers of CCTV video recorders used by Network Rail and/or the SFO.

The purpose of maintaining CCTV video recorders is to decrease the incidence of failures through deterioration and to identify potential defects before they become service effecting.
