This module applies when inspecting the line in order to:

a) confirm that engineering work carried out under traffic has been safely completed;

b) confirm that engineering work carried out with a line blockage has been safely completed;

c) raise or remove an emergency or temporary speed restriction (ESR or TSR);

d) raise the permanent line speed (PSR).

This module does not apply when giving up line blockages or removing TSRs that have been imposed solely for the protection of staff.
