1) rails;

2) insulated rail joints;

3) sleepers and bearers;

4) half sets of switches;

5) crossings; and

6) S&C and plain line panels.

This standard does not apply to rail transportation of materials.

This standard does not supersede the requirement of any regulations surrounding lifting materials or lift planning.

Purpose

This document provides a process to control the risk of damage to track materials during lifting, storage and transportation.
